The Challenges
Developing Guidely presented several unique challenges. First, integrating live classes with interactive features like Q&A, quizzes, and real-time feedback required robust video streaming technology. Ensuring scalability was another challenge, as we needed a platform capable of handling peak traffic during exam seasons without performance drops. Additionally, keeping the platform secure was paramount due to the personal data involved in the exam preparation process. Lastly, providing a rich variety of study materials, from mock tests to current affairs, meant managing a vast database and keeping content up-to-date.
The Solution
Softkingo overcame these challenges by implementing innovative solutions. For live classes, we utilized WebRTC and Socket.IO to provide seamless video streaming and real-time interaction. To ensure the app could scale effectively, we employed cloud infrastructure (AWS) to manage large volumes of data and traffic during peak usage. For security, we incorporated end-to-end encryption and multi-factor authentication to protect user data. We also developed an intuitive user interface with a mobile-first approach, ensuring students could access all study materials, mock tests, and live classes with ease.
